Contractions - The Final Countdown?
This morning Claudia wasn't feeling well. She had woken up a couple of times during the night and in the morning she had cramps. After breakfast the cramps became more regular and soon it was obvious that she was having contractions. We counted one contraction every 10 minutes and decided to leave for the hospital, where they did some tests and measured an opening of 2 centimeters. According to Claudia's mum this could mean that the opening increases by 1 centimeter per hour, and since you need about 10 cm, it could mean that our daughter will be born today.
The midwife told us to go home, relax a bit, take a nice bath and come back later that night. But after her bath, the contractions got worse, so we will probably leave very soon.
The final countdown has begun...
